”ARE HUMAN RIGHTS RELATIVE?” ”ARE SOME PEOPLE’S RIGHTS MORE “RIGHT” THAN OTHERS?”

NOTE: THIS IS MY RESPONSE TO COMMENTS MADE ON MY FRIEND’S BLOG AT http://thecookshack.blogspot.com/ “A Must Read for Anyone Who Values Life.”

The ISSUE: ABORTION RIGHTS. THE BLOG HAS A LINK TO……. http://www.family.org/cforum/commentary/a0040927.cfm WHICH IS AN ARTICLE ABOUT A PERSON WHO IS A SURVIVOR OF A “BOTCHED” ABORTION WHO performed the National Anthem at a Planned Parenthood celebration before they found out about her “secret” that was revealed and put a “damper” on their “liberal self serving” celebration!

“She sings the anthem to applause, then her secret is revealed to stunned silence.”

THE COMMENTS MADE ON THIS BLOG WERE MANY AND COVERED BOTH SIDES OF THE ISSUE. ONE WAS QUITE STRONG IN SUPPORT OF ABORTION RIGHTS AND USED THE OLD “THOU SHALL NOT JUDGE” CONUNDRUM.

My comments .

WOW! Interesting. The debate on individual rights is indeed a paradox. We all have rights and we all are equal...but............ unfortunately...because of arrogance and EGO, it appears some have more rights than others. The cause of this confusion simply stated is ignorance of the facts. Some of the facts come to us through Holy Scripture. BUT...that is too controversial and deals with belief. The only "other" source of facts must then be Biology because "emotions" sure can't be! . I am a Biologist and I have taught this subject for 33 years. I think I might be able to share some incite on this debate.A developing sexually reproducing organism is a Biological entity from conception to death. The only difference between the various stages is "time"....The same biochemical pathways that occur in a single living cell (Zygote is that cell) occur through all stages right to death. To say that a developing baby is just a "blob" of tissue is ignorance of the facts. The idea that the developing baby is not a living entity protected by the Constitution until "birth" is an arbitrary definition made without considerati0n of the facts. The problem is who has rights? The right of the Mother to kill her baby BEFORE birth is presently the law of the land...but that law hinges on who has more rights....the privacy right of the mother or the right to life b y the baby. Funny part is. the father has been cut completely out of this law and the baby is 50% his! (Makes me wonder if women’s groups would be so strong for abortion rights if we were like "seahorses" where the male carries the kids!) We are sexually reproducing placental mammals where the female cares for the young in it's 1st 9 months of life. Legislatures didn't make it this way and legislatures CANNOT CHANGE it by covering it under the "blanket" of individual rights. Proof that it really isn't about individual rights is the fact that men have no rights on the issue.So...what's it all about? Originally is was about population control of minorities. (read history of Lyndon Johnson) It has since been replaced by a multibillion dollar a year business for abortionists, research labs demanding baby parts of experimentation in the name of Medical Science and the "baby" adoption business. (Law of supply and demand....can't have too many kids out there for adoption. it would wreck havoc on the present baby business!)I am amazed how people use the Bible to defend there positions but when the Bible doesn't support their positions...they reject it... Cafeteria-style believers. Do we really think we can "pull the wool over our Creator's eyes?"FOLLOW THE MONEY...ABORTION IS ABOUT MONEY...NOT RIGHTS! AND DON'T GIVE ME THAT BALONEY ABOUT RAPE AND INCEST AND MEDICAL REASONS. ABORTION WAS LEGAL IN THIS COUNTRY ON ALL THESE CASES BEFORE ROE VS WADE!


Questions on murder and war were raised by a commentor...Where do capital punishment and war fit into this picture....I'LL TELL YOU.....SAME PLACE as abortion that's where! ALL three are immoral!

AND...I really "love" (not) this line of ANY culture determining when the SOUL enters the baby while in the womb......I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING MORE ARROGANT. uugh!

WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY PLACED ALL THE PARTS OF A LIVING CELL TOGETHER IN A TEST TUBE....GUESS WHAT?..NO LIFE! THAT'S WHAT! SPONTANEOUS GENERATION?....LOUIS PASTEUR ENDED THAT ARGUMENT OVER A 100 YEARS AGO...YOU CAN GO VISIT HIS FAMOUSS "S" SHAPED FLASK EXPERIMENT IN THE PASTEUR INSTITUTE RIGHT NOW......"IT HAS NOT CHANGED!" (it won't either unless someone tampers with it!) HE PROVED BIOGENESIS ONCE AND FOR ALL...IT'S JUST THAT EVERYONE FORGOT OLD LOUIS, INCLUDING EGO DRIVEN SCIENTISTS. SCIENTISTS BACK IN LOUI'S DAY WERE REQUIRED TO KNOW THE BIBLE! TODAY'S SCIENTISTS ARE MISSING A LOT OF THE SPIRITUAL RESOURCES OF GOD AND AS A RESULT THEY ARE SUBJECT TO THE ILLUSIONS GENERATED BY THEIR OWN EGOS.

YAHOOOOOOOOO! Human's have always had a hard time with issues that are difficult to deal with morally where there seems to be more than one answer.. It is because of the greatest lie.... "Exitus Acta Probat" The Ends Justify the Means....."The Ends are Justified Only by Just and Moral means otherwise the Ends themselves become immoral." Pax...Doubting Thomas



I was reminded by a commentor that I was a bit sarcastic. I agree and am not proud of it EGO gets the best of me a lot....I'm a work in progress and I tend to take things personally. Hate me when I do that!

OK on the war issue....Yes...it's a biggy....is there such as thing as a just war. I don't know I do believe in the biological principle of survival of the individual and the species. It is an extention of cellular Homeostasis, the ability to maintain the living process under changing conditions. This is a natural force that initiates at conception (at Zygote formation) and continues to natural death. Turning the other cheek to those who would harm us does not include letting someone take our life. This is not what turning the other cheek means. It means we are not to repay violence with violence. "Revenge is mine says the Creator." However, if someone is trying to kill you, you have the biological right and RESPONSIBILITY to defend your life by trying to stop the person from killing you. Killing your would be killer does NOT require killing them. If you do kill them them unintentionally in the process of defending yourself, and it must be unintentional, this is not murder...it is the unfortunate result of extended Homeostasis.

As far as scholars arguing over the difference between killing and murder...it is the same as arguing over one sin being worse than another. In human reasoning that is true but in God's Creation...Sin is Sin..there are no 1st and 2nd degree Sins! Killing and murder both imply intention to take the other's life. Let the scholars argue all they want over the Commandment. They are "going for the tie" like "Slick Willy" Bill Clinton did when he said...'It depends on what is, IS!"

ALL sin is the result of the choices resulting from the Law of Free Will and all have the same affect on the Fabric of the Cosmos. In Star Wars they called it a disturbance in the Force. Sin causes the loss of Harmonic Resonance in the Strings. the THOUGHTS of God...Existence itself.."the Fabric of Creation...Cosmos." In math it is called Chaos Theory or Butterfly Effect and whose mechanism is known as Quantum Entanglement. They are all parts of the Hyperspace Theory of the Super strings, memBranes and Bubbles and "ripple throughout space-time and the "other" 7 dimensions of Existence for all Eternity. When we learn the true affect of our EGOS and the resulting Sin....we desperately try to overcome it. Unfortunately....most search in the wrong places for the "patch" to correct the problem. The problem is "Original Sin" and the only "patch" available is John 14:6. ("I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life...NO ONE comes to the Father except through me.") I didn't make the "patch" and Bill Gates and Microsoft sure didn't and Christianity didn't either! The TRUTH is that the "portal" to higher dimensional existence cannot be achieved by our works, philosophy or our intellect...it is possible only through the "True Star Gate"... the "Incarnated Creator"....the Christ of Existence. The Law of Free Will guarantees that this is an individual choice but our EGOS reject any consequence of this choice. The following little story demonstrates this human trait....

"Can't have your cake and eat it too!" (uuugh...I hate that dumb expression....but is is a colloquial that everyoone understands)

By the way.....I am opposed to the death penalty as well as abortion...not a very Christian point of view..Fundamental Christian that is. I'm trying to figure out how a person can be opposed to the death penalty and be pro-abortion. (and vice-versa) I don't get the logic! The issue of Life and Death is not a rights issue or a justice issue. Sorry!



I am opposed to war as well but understand that it is a necessary evil in this 4th world because of the result of man's EGO... and peace will never come until the Incarnate Creator Jesus the Christ returns at the dawn of the 5th world. Thanks for disagreeing! I want to grow!...Pax...Doubting Thomas
