"TO THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM AND ALL ISRAEL"

“To the Peace of Jerusalem and ALL Israel”

“For thousands of years, we Jews have been nourished and sustained by a yearning for our historic land. …I believed, and to this day still believe, in our people's eternal and historic right to this entire land.”

– Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, addressing the US Congress on May 24, 2006

The following excerpt is from an e-mail I received from The Jerusalem News Wire. Some would say that this is a “political” issue and should not be posted on my site. Well…. to set the record straight…. The Peace of Jerusalem and Israel IS NOT POLITICAL…it is 100% Biblical…The “Fig Tree Prophecy.”

We are admonished by the Bible to NOT divide YHWH’s land and any nation that participates in any way to the demise of Israel is going against the Creator of the Universe. Israel is a “People” AND it is “LAND.” Ie: Our President’s “Road Map to Peace for Palestine an d Israel is opposed to YHWH God and is a “ROAD MAP TO HELL”, NOT PEACE!

Many Christian groups are in “apostasy” because they teach that Israel IS NOT THE NATION of ISRAEL BUT IS THE “BODY OF BELIEVERS” in Christ. I personally believe this is blasphemy because it calls God a liar and GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED. The “end time” separation of the “sheep from the goats” WILL NOT be about what day we worship on, whether our clergy are celibate or whether we reject the “Rapture” or not. IT WILL BE ABOUT ONE’S RELATIONSHIP TO THE CHRIST AND HIS ISRAEL.

Jesus was asked what signs to look for before His Second Coming. He said…

Matthew 24:32-33 32Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that he is near, right at the door. (Hosea 9:10 and Jeremiah 24:2-4 tell us that the “Fig Tree” is Israel.)

Israel the fig tree has put forth its leaves and been reborn as a nation on May 14, 1948 therefore, the coming of Christ draws near.

Luke 21:24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

This passage was fulfilled in 1967 after Israel took over all of Jerusalem in the six-day war.
The times of the Gentiles began with the Apostle Paul's missionary work in the first century. Prior to this time God's ministry was preached mainly to the Jewish people.

We are the last generation of this earth.

Luke 21:32 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place.

This reading from Luke occurs after the signs and warnings Jesus gave of the end of the age and the prophecy of Jerusalem's return to Jewish control. Therefore the generation that will not pass away would seem to refer to the generation in place in 1967.

How long is a generation? Based on other bible passages it could be:
40 years - Numbers 32:13 "So the LORD'S anger burned against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the entire generation of those who had done evil in the sight of the LORD was destroyed.
70 years - Psalm 90:10 As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, eighty years, yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; for soon it is gone and we fly away.
120 years - Genesis 6:3 Then the Lord said, "My spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he is also flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.
This would put the end of this generation in the year 2007, 2037, or 2087.

Some biblical scholars feel that the generation that Jesus referred to was present when Israel became a nation. Therefore the end of this generation in this viewpoint could be 1988, 2018, or 2068.

Matthew 24:36-37 36But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37For the coming of the Son Of Man will be just like the days of Noah.

Remember know one except our Father in heaven knows the exact date or hour of the rapture or tribulation. However, He allows us to see the signs and indications that his return is near. We must always be ready.

EXCERPT FROM JERUSALEM NEWSWIRE…..

Jerusalem Newswire….a Christian Zionist news agency in Jerusalem, is “leaving” its” protected location in Jerusalem and moving its’ offices To The Front Lines, into the territories disputed by the world but declared by God to be Israel’s.

You may or may not truly grasp why we are moving out behind the Security Fence. So let me tell you what this move is, and what it is not.

First let me be clear about what it is not: Our relocation is not being done in defiance of the government of Israel. We are in agreement with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert (quoted above) concerning the ownership of this land. But we do disagree with what he plans to do with his nation’s patrimony in the ongoing quest for an ever-elusive peace.

With all the respect due this elected leader, we will express our belief that he does not need, and in fact has not the right, to relinquish a single inch of this land. We know that, but for unrelenting pressure from the gentile nations, Israel would not be on the verge of taking this step.

Furthermore, we see “convergence” as we saw “disengagement” (and our fears about that are being realized every day, including today). Convergence means further shrinking and weakening Israel in the face of a proliferating threat and an increasingly determined foe. We cannot remain silent in the face of this.

What our relocation to Samaria is, is an act of conviction and a declaration of faith. We go to raise a banner, proclaiming this biblical and historical truth: That God has brought His people back to their land, all their land. He is planting the Jews on the Mountains of Israel “and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land [He] has given them.”

We reject and will resist in every legitimate way the efforts of the international community to steal this land from the Jews. We will oppose the enemy who seeks to destroy Israel by reversing her restoration, whittling away at this divinely-given land until it is small enough to swallow. We will continue to take an unyielding stand against the massive media lie that calls Israel the occupier, aggressor and oppressor, and the Arabs the disinherited victims.

In the coming months we will be spending our days alongside and amongst those Jewish people most vilified and resented by the world. Our desire will be to comfort and encourage them in the face of this overwhelming hatred. To them we will say, through our lips and our presence: “We are with you for we have heard that God is with you. Be strong and of good courage. Though your enemies rise up against you, He will deliver you.”

We hope you know that we are also here to serve and represent you – the Bible believer who knows that you have been positioned as a watchman on the wall “for such a time as this.” Our desire is to enable you to “watch, so you can pray.” For the Bible instructs, “all who make mention of the Lord” to actively intercede for Israel “until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in all the earth.”

Some of you may be wondering how you can continue to stand with Israel when a majority of its people appears supportive of government policies you – in all good conscience – cannot countenance.
As we move out into the frontlines – to a place where, just last Friday, a terrorist attack took place, and which security forces shut down yesterday amid reports of a “suicide” bomber trying to infiltrate Jerusalem from there – we invite you to continue to support Israel by supporting the Jerusalem Newswires.
And may the LORD Who chose Jerusalem bless you out of Zion.
Yours in His service
