Some comments on WND's Joseph Farah article about Pope Francis ........(article below my comments)

I appreciate very much Joseph Farah's journalistic ministry  and I read his emails every day and actually agree with him 99% of the time. However.....his disingenuous response to the leader of the Roman Catholic Church in this article that he is "fallible" on evolution is an obvious reference to the Catholic Doctrine of Papal "Infallibility." Obviously the Pope is fallible on evolution....even evolutionary Scientists can be in error on evolutionary processes.....in fact...Science is WRONG about man evolving from Simian ancestry by Darwinian Natural Selection  and Fundamental Christianity is CORRECT about Creationism/Intelligent Design as the mechanism but for the WRONG interpretation of Intelligent Design.  Fundamental Christians believe God Created man in His image by "magic"..the "supernatural."  The famous illusionist "The Amazing Kreskin" was quoted as saying..."The supernatural is the undiscovered natural."  The recently verified discovery of the Quantum Entanglement phenomena. predicted by Albert Einstein, who called it "all too spooky", sure seems to  lend support to Kreskin's statement!  The "key" to understanding "real" Intelligent Design from the illusion of the "magic" version is to understand and know the God of Creation of the Bible revealed in the "flesh" as Yeshua Ben Joseph. (Jesus The Christ)  If Christians truly understand the following Scriptures ....(   John 14:8-23, Psalm 82:3-6, Galatians 3:26-28, Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians:3:16-17, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 1 John 4:16 )   ....they would realize who God IS and that God's Laws are PERFECT therefore it is illogical for God to violate His Laws.  Man invented the supernatural to explain things he does not understand and sadly, rejects Science when it does explain reality.  The danger is that many people embrace pseudo-Science which results in suppression of the truth for an illusion that enslaves mankind spiritually and physically.  Yes....God did indeed Create man in His image....NOT by Natural Selection or "magic".....He did it through His Creation via Recombinant DNA because God dwells within and works THROUGH His Creation and His PERFECT Laws like rDNA.  Jesus revealed that God is Spirit (John 4:24) ...NOT AN "ANTHROPOMORPHIC ALL POWERFUL SUPERNATURAL SUPER MAN." The Spirit of God revealed in Jesus  IS  Love, Compassion, Forgiveness, Holiness and Beauty. "God is not a man that He should lie."  (Numbers 23:19)  God's Spirit Incarnated as Jesus Christ 2000 years ago to free mankind from his sinful nature and from oppression by other men, especially through religion.

To clarify the doctrine....the Pope is "infallible" ONLY when defending the Gospel of Jesus Christ...NOT Science!  The Pope's personal statements are based on traditionally accepted scientific evidence of evolution NOT his spiritual infallibility on the Gospel.  

One may argue there is no evidence of Natural Selection and even claim there is evidence it is not true, however....proving a negative is a non-sequitur.  It is obvious that Natural Selection is real because even Fundamentals accept "micro-evolution." They have no choice because we observe its' consequences....."drug resistant pathogens."  However, they reject "macro-evolution" because they believe it is incompatible with the Bible. Well...IT IS INCOMPATIBLE with their literal, fundamental and even symbolic interpretation BUT.....the Scientific interpretation of God's Word is not only compatible...it PROVES that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and final authority.  Unfortunately, most people involved in Science do not believe in God and sadly reject the truth and wisdom in God's Word and insist on assuming man evolved from apes.

Because the Simian genome is more than 95% identical to humans....Science assumes we evolved from them and believe there is evidence of this anthropologically even though they know that the only source of "new natural genetic codes" come from DNA mutation which are 99% lethal which implies there was simply NOT ENOUGH TIME for man to have evolved from apes. . (less .001 % of the non-lethals occur in germ tissue..the ONLY ones passed on to offspring for Natural Selection to act on. Lamarkian epigenesis is said to "make up the time" by offering new codes but they too MUST occur in germ tissue...same with mDNA.(mitochondrial)  If Science did accept the truth and wisdom of the Bible and understood the God revealed in Jesus Christ they would realize that the more logical explanation of the 95% common genome and 99% lethal mutation problem is RECOMBINANT DNA.  

In addition.....if Science did accept the Bible, they would realize the "Adam's rib"  story in the Creation of Eve in Genesis is ABSOLUTE Truth.  Adam needed a helpmate. God puts Adam in a "deep sleep," God takes a "rib" from Adam and covers it with "flesh and blood" and Eve is Created.  Adam wakes up and says..."At last this is flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone, I will call her women because 'she comes from man.'"
The Science......the rib is a rich source of adult stem cells. These cells are easily reset to an early "embryonic state" (Induced Pluripotency)  The "Y" chromosome of one IPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell) is removed and discarded. An "X" chromosome is removed from a second IPSC and is inserted into the first, second cell is discarded.  The "modified" IPSC is induced to start cleavage and mophogenesis and is placed into a surrogate womb (no doubt in vitro artificial) .....9 months later "baby Eve" is born. No doubt the "deep sleep" was some form of suspended animation because when Eve was presented to Adam she was already a young mature women!  (OR Adam would have been a pedophile! AND...good thing the "Y" chromosome was replaced with an "X" or it would have been "Adam and Steve!")  There is no question that Eve is a female Homo sapien and that "she came from Adam."  (BTW...when I was studying in college to be a Biology teacher, Science thought the "Y" chromosome was a degenerate "X." That has since then disproved and the "Y" is a unique DNA package that carries the genetic codes for the male sex.  This means the Bible is correct in that Adam was Created BEFORE Eve. God could have made the female BEFORE the male by rDNA but in order to understand why He did it that way..you'll have to ask God personally....it's way above my "pay grade!"  BTW...if you reject the Scientific interpretation of God's Word..that is perfectly OK...it has nothing to do with our Salvation.....that issue belongs to Jesus! (John 14:6)

“When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so,” said Pope Francis at a recent plenary session of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. “He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfillment.”

That’s his story.

It’s not His story.

The pope discounts the biblical account of Creation. He puts his faith in evolution – just about the time many scientists are wondering if there is anything to it.

I wonder what else he discounts from God’s Word. Is there anything sacred in the Bible?

“God is not a divine being or a magician, but the Creator who brought everything to life,” the pope said. “Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings that evolve.”

Let’s think about this.

The Genesis account isn’t just some Old Testament fairy tale. It is fundamental to Christian belief. It was thoroughly affirmed by Jesus. In fact, if the fall of man is just an allegory, one wonders why Jesus would have had to come to atone for man’s sin – a prophecy first revealed in Genesis.

If Jesus did not come to fulfill that prophecy, who was He?

In Genesis 3:15, we see the first prophecy regarding the redeemer who would come in the form of Jesus. In a warning to the serpent, God says: “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

This is a reference to the Messiah to come.

Jesus Himself affirmed Moses, the author of Genesis: “And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” (Luke 16:31)

He affirmed the biblical Creation account: “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” (Mark 10:6-9)

Perhaps the pope forgot the teaching of Romans and other New Testament books that explain Jesus came as the second Adam: “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.” (Romans 5:14)

What exactly did Jesus come to do if not redeem man as a result of the fall?

If sin entered the world through Adam, how does the pope explain all the evolutionary death that would have to occur on earth before Adam appeared?

I don’t understand Christians who discount Genesis. It makes no sense. Nothing in the Bible makes sense without the Creation account. If the pope doesn’t believe the foundational aspect of the Bible, does he believe any of it? If he does, he really owes the Christian world an explanation of which parts of the Bible he believes and which he discounts.

As I recall my trip this month to Jerusalem, the Holy City of God, I wonder just how small the remnant of believers will be when Jesus comes again.

I also wonder if the pope believes He will come again.
