AND...An odd observation from the Torah in the  original Hebrew language......
"Future events are recorded in the past tense and past events in the future tense"....oxymoron?

Does God want  ALL His children saved?

1 Timothy 2:1-4
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants ALL people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
2 Peter 3:9
  "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting ANYONE to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
( He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. ... He doesn't want to destroy anyone but wants all people to have an OPPORTUNITY to turn  to Him)
 Whose OPPORTUNITY....God or man?
HOWEVER.....1 Thessalonians 5:2  "for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night."  
.........Good warning,  but for whom?  Those being LOST or maybe something else?.....
Seems to me that  way too many people actually like the idea of bad people being condemned to hell forever.  Yep....gotta love revenge!  Revenge is mine says the Lord!  (Romans 12:19 ,   Deuteronomy 32:35 )
Serious Question............?
Some things I hear from Christians when someone dies....was he/she  "born again?" Obviously worried they will go to hell, especially a loved one or friend OR non-Christian. (although  they are already condemned for being born in a non-Christian family or have never heard of ther Gospel like the Ethiopian Enuch on the road to Emmaus.  God said you MUST be born again to enter the Kingdom of God...... ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Who decides who is born again...God or man? VERY serious  question... "born again for what" ..do they really know?
MAYBE   the following Word of God explains how we should view what I am saying........AND IS THE ULTIMATE WARNING.....
Matthew 7:1-2
 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

I was thinking about the execution of Saadam Hussien...God knows we want him in hell for eternity! (you probably have some other's in mind!)  .....It lead me to the Scripture of the "workers in the vineyard."(Matthew 20:1-16)  Talk about the MOST unfair treatment iin history.
I KNOW there are many legal expert interperetations of this Scripture.....well..I say HOGWASH!
Matthew 20:1-16

1 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. 2 He agreed to pay them a denarius[a] for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
3 “About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4 He told them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’ 5 So they went.
“He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. 6 About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’
7 “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.
“He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’
8 “When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’
9 “The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12 ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’
13 “But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? 14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
THIS IS NOT ABOUT UNFAIR LABOR PRACTICE!
NOBODY knows what happens at the last  BILLIONTH of a second of time/space ..(Planck limit =1 X 10-33cm)  AT the transition of death. Time IS an illusion no matter how persistent and Quantum Mechanics verified this in the  Hadron Collider in Geneva , Switzerland.
 THEREFORE........HOW DO ANY OF US KNOW THAT TIME/SPACE.... could FREEZE at the Planck  limit and Jesus could COME  to any person and THAT is when THAT person has the FINAL OPPORTUNITY to choose ....ala' the worker who showed up at 4 pm and  got the SAME pay as ther guy who started at 9 am. NOT fair?  That's the whole point of the workers in the vineyard. We are not to judge where anyone stands with the Eternal...because, as Jesus revealed, (John 14:8-19)  God dwells in ALL  and what ever measure we judge with.... WE WILL BE JUDGED.
Thank God for His Mercy......before your past the BILLIONTH of a second!
